S
hoshana's tallitot (prayer shawls) are inspired by her life in Israel. Her fabrics originate throughout the Middle and Far East and are woven in cities and small villages. The cape-like style of these prayer shawls is reminiscent of the original commandment and practice of tying tztitzit on the four corners of a "garment," yet they maintain the contemporary feel and use of a tallit. The addition of the hood provides privacy and intimacy during the prayer experience.
Tallitot are tied with hand-spun and hand-dyed techelet . They come in four sizes. Special orders can be accommodated. Please visit our site in the coming weeks in order to choose from a wide variety of fabrics.
