S hoshana has been making one-of-a-kind, handmade books for five years now, though it feels like she's been doing it her whole life. She began her passion for books with a workshop at the Haystack Mountain School of Arts and Crafts and has been hooked ever since. Her books are unique, sculptural pieces that often incorporate printmaking, photography and creative writing and address a variety of topics of interest to her - dreams, prayer, peace, Jerusalem. Shoshana likes for her books to be explored, unfolded and investigated and this is clearly reflected in the non-traditional style in which she creates her works. Shoshana also binds more traditional books for journals, wedding albums, baby books and more.
