A rt builds community. Whether it is women of diverse faiths making a book together about personal heritage, bereaved families sewing a quilt, bat mitzvah girls painting chairs and tables to donate to a children's center or youth at risk building mosaic furniture for a public installation, communities are created in the process. People learn about themselves and about each other as they create.

Shoshana consults with diverse communities throughout Israel and North America to develop and create community art projects in various mediums. Her work emphasizes cross cultural dialogue, social justice, personal identity and Jewish life cycle events. Shoshana is available to work with schools, community centers, private and public institutions, and other interested groups and individuals.
