M any young women have chosen to honor the celebration of their Bat Mitzvah by creating original pieces of art. These Benot Mitzvah explore their Torah portions or other topics of interest by creating art that is meaningful to them and that allows them to gain a unique understanding of what it means to become a Bat Mitzvah. Each young woman, with Shoshana's guidance, designs and creates an art project to match her interests and personal expression. Projects have included community quilts, handmade books as well as painted furniture donated to local centers in need.
