S hoshana has created a unique and soulful way to raise funds for Jewish communities by combining art with fundraising. She has successfully raised over $70,000 for Elat Chayyim, a Jewish Retreat Center in upstate New York, with her two artworks:

The Mezzuzah Project	&	The Shiviti Project

In each installation, the letters of the selected text are sold to individual donors while a unique piece of artwork is created for the site. Each institution, with Shoshana's assistance, creates a fundraising model appropriate for their population. This model of selling letters is inspired by the long standing, Jewish tradition of "selling" the letters of a Torah scroll in order to raise funds for its creation. With this tradition in mind, Shoshana has created an inspiring and refreshing way to bring physical and spiritual beauty to your center of Jewish life.
